How It Works

During the set-up process, you can select the categories of words you want to search for on your child's site(s), or you can create your own list. YouDiligence continually searches your child's Facebook and/or MySpace pages for any use of the words you select. When one of those words appears on your child's page, you will immediately receive an email identifying the word, the context in which it is used, and a link to the page where it is used. Promoting Open Communications

We strongly encourage you to have an open discussion with your child about the potential dangers on social networks. Set boundaries and discuss what those boundaries are. Let your child know that you reserve the right to check out their pages should you come across something that is troubling. To Set-up Your Account

You will need one of the following:

  • To know your child's MySpace and/or Facebook login and password.
  • To have been "friended" by your child on your own MySpace and/or Facebook page.
  • To set up your own new MySpace and/or Facebook page, send a "friend" request to your child and have them accept that request.
